CHC Auxiliary Honors Volunteers of the Year - 2008

     The Carrington Health Center Auxiliary honored their members at the annual Christmas party on Friday, December 5.

     Dinner was prepared and served by CHC dietary staff.

     Lois Clark provided special music for the group

     Betty Bold, president of the auxiliary reported on the activities and projects of 2008.

     Board members of the auxiliary were introduced: Betty Bold, president - Peggy Smith, 1st vice president - Diane Jamison, 2nd vice president - Renae Klein, treasurer - Mary Otto, secretary - Kristee Page, historian - and board members at large: Bernadine Anderson, Linda Erickson, Helen Holth, Virginia March, Boninie Rosenau, Illa Zink and Kathleen Berdahl (past president).

     Honored as Volunteers of the Year were Virginia March and Illa Zink.  These two ladies have volunteered countless hours at the Carrington Health Center along with their churches, other organizations and in the community.

     Both have served on the auxiliary board, chaired various projects and numerous short-term projects.

Illa Zink also received the Volunteer of the Year award - honoring her exceptional service to the Auxiliary and the Carrington community.

 

          Receiving the Honorary Members of the Year were Carrington Health Center Ambulance.  Accepting this award were Tim Schmeets, Michael Parr and Margie Kleinsasser.

 

 

     These dedicated personnel are very committed to serving the community and service area with excellence and compassion.

CHC Auxiliary Names Volunteer of Year

          Carrington Health Center Auxiliary members were honored at the annual Christmas party on Friday, December 7 at 6:30 p.m.

          Entertainment was provided by "Grace Notes."  Anita, Schindler, Pay Bibelheimer, Jan Martin, Heidi Olson, Laurie Lloyd (not present) and Karen Fike.

          These ladies presented a program with enthusiasm and charisma in message and song.  They are from Fessenden, Bowdon and Anamoose.

         Honored as Volunteer of the Year was Sharon Puterbaugh.  Sharon volunteers in several areas at the health center along with her volunteer hours at Trinity Lutheran Church.

          She is a wonderful baker and many people in the community are recipients of her goodies.

          Kathleen Berdahl, president, reported on the activities from the past year.

          Board members were introduced as follows: president, Kathleen Berdahl; first vice president, Betty Bold; second vice president, Diane Jamison; secretary, Mary Otto; treasurer, Renae Klein; historian, Kristee Page; board members at large, Illa Zink, Dianne Larson, Virginia March, Bonnie Rosenau, Peggy Smith and Kristy Sauby; and past president, Marie Gussiaas.

          Carrington Health Center dietary ladies served a delicious meal.
