THANK YOU

to everyone who participated in "Tablescapes" in any way. There were mega hours invested in this awesome event. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by everyone who attended. Hats off to all the ladies who decorated tables and to the chairpersons and their assistants.

Leadership Awards Scholarships - 2011/12

Receiving the Carrington Health Center Auxiliary Leadership/ Scholarship Awards for 2011-2012 are Amber Anderson, Jessa Schafer, Robert Henson, Melissa Rosenau and Kristen Neumiller.

Amber is enrolled at the North Dakota State College of Science at Wahpeton in the Dental Assisting and Hygiene program.

Jessa will be attending the North Dakota State College of Science and pursuing the Dental Hygiene program.

Robert is enrolled at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis and plans to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Melissa is enrolled at the University of Mary School of Health Sciences to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Kristen graduated from the University of Mary and is currently enrolled at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, and enrolled in the Radiologic Technology/Sonography program.

A luncheon was held in their honor on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at the Pizza Ranch. The honorees and guests, along with the CHC Leadership/Scholarship Committee and Carrington Health Center Auxiliary Board members were in attendance. Kristen Neumiller was unable to attend.

Leadership Awards Scholarships - 2009/10

Leadership awards were presented to Casey Schroeder, attending the University of Mary and enrolled in the Radiologic Technology Program; Randy Kollman, attending the University of Mary and enrolled in the Physical Therapy Program and Amber Kruse, attending Lake Region State College and enrolled in the Dakota Nursing Program.

In February there will be an article in the Independent about the Leadership Award which we give every year. If you know someone at college enrolled in the healthcare field, encourage them to apply.
