Welcome to the Carrington Health Center Auxiliary...
We are pleased that you have decided to become an auxiliary member and/or volunteer at the center.
The services you will be providing as a volunteer are appreciated by staff, patients and residents. As a volunteer, you are voluntarily giving of yourself, your time and your talents. Special gratification will come from the patients and residents whom you come in contact with.
Thank you for your commitment to the Auxiliary and the Volunteer Program at CHC. We hope your relationship is a a long and fruitful one. We also hope that this experience will be as rewarding and beneficial to you as it will be to our staff, patients, and residents.
As you know, the Happy Heart Hutch at Carrington Health Center is always adding new, unique gifts. Check out all the new merchandise and food items: USA flax...gluten-free chips...meat-rubs...dips...soups...bread mixes... and other Thunderbird products.
The Hutch is filled with wonderful ideas for gifts, as well as featuring ongoing specials.
Now through January 31st: 50% off ALL Christmas & snowmen February 6th through 17th: 25% off all purses, clutches, scarves & caps March: 25% off all books, boxed notes, note cards, and list pads
It's always pleasant to stop by the Happy Heart Hutch, whether you're there to buy a gift for someone in the hospital, to pick up a decoration for your home, or to visit with an Auxiliary volunteer. Also, it feels good to know that the proceeds from the Hutch go toward a good cause.
It's Time for Valentine Cookies!!
The CHC Auxiliary and Presentation Hospice will again be taking orders for frosted sugar cookies for Valentine's Day. These cookies must be ordered by February 6, 2012 and will cost $6/dozen.
If you are interested in baking, frosting or purchasing cookies, please call Dorothy Fenske at 652-7194, and she will give you the recipe and the cookie cutter. (These may be made ahead of time and frozen.)
UPCOMING GALLERY PROJECT
CHC Auxiliary is planning a new gallery project. We are inviting each of you to help us with this project. We are planning a display of CHC employees, auxiliary members, CHC board members and others associated with CHC to share pictures of their families, grandchildren and/or pets. These pictures may be framed, matted, snapshots or Christmas pictures.
Whatever you have to share will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us with this project.

The auxiliary is planning a QUILT BINGO for October, 2012. If you would consider helping in any way, please contact one of the co-chairs. We will be needing quilts, wall quilts, quilted table runners, pillows, new quilt kits, new quilting supplies, aprons or any quilted items. If you're not a quilter and would like to participate, you could help with a financial donation for the quilters. Thank you!
